Moat House Surgery, Warboys, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
GP Partner – 4 sessions
Due to retirement and growth in our list size, we are looking for a replacement GP partner to join our established four partner practice. We are a cohesive and supportive partnership with an established and experienced team serving a semi-rural population of 6908 patients. We would welcome applications from experienced or newly qualified GPs.
We maintain that the GP partnership model has benefits for partners, practice staff and patients alike. We are proud of our consistently high performance in the NHSE Patient Survey where we ranked fourth in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG on overall experience in 2021. In general, our patients appreciate the Surgery and respect our staff. We receive very few complaints.
We have a very effective multi-disciplinary team which means that we can provide high quality and responsive care to our patients without the need to extend the working day.
We believe that we have the best practice staff in the area! Most of our team have worked here many years and as a result we have a stable and committed workforce. Our GP partners (like our staff) tend to come to Moat House Surgery and stay – our longest serving partner has been here 25 years and our newest 11 years.
We are part of the St Ives Primary Care Network and as members of the PCN we benefit from our own SCP, a care-coordinator, physiotherapist and pharmacist support.
Start date flexible and we can offer:
- Purpose built premises in an attractive village location.
- Appreciative patients.
- List size 6908 – and growing steadily due to growth of local population.
- Full complement of motivated staff including 4 practice nurses and 2 HCAs.
- Two ANPs who are both independent prescribers.
- Part dispensing.
- Happy practice, very low staff turnover.
- EMISWeb using ECLIPSE, Ardens.
- Member of St Ives PCN.
- Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave.
