Practice Nurse
We are a friendly, patient focused, dispensing practice with 7700 patients. We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our team who would be happy to work as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes GP’s, nurse, HCA, phlebotomist, dispensers, medical receptionists, pharmacist & social prescribers.
The role:
Ideally, you will have experience of practice nursing, and be confident in delivering child immunisations, cervical cytology, wound care, chronic disease management and travel immunisations & ECG’s. This list is not exhaustive. This is a part time position of 24hrs per week worked over 3 days, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. We would be happy to offer more hours if required. A competitive salary, based upon experience, will be offered.

The post holder will implement and lead on a full range of promotion and management their own and others’ health and safety and infection control as defined in the practice Health & Safety Policy, the practice Health & Safety Manuel, and the practice Infection Control policy.
Learning and development
The effective use of training and development is fundamental in ensuring that all staff are equipped with the appropriate skills, knowledge, attitude and competences to perform their role. All staff will be required to partake in and complete mandatory training. It is an expectation for this post holder to assess their own learning needs and undertake learning as appropriate.
