Website Monkfield Medical Practice

Come and join Monkfield Medical Practice as a Salaried GP atCambourne, CAMBRIDGE, CB23 6HL

Monkfield Medical Practice (MMP) is a friendly, modern, forward thinking GP surgery providing sustainable healthcare to Cambourne. You will be joining a cohesive multi-disciplinary team of General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Phlebotomist, Management and Administrative staff, Clinical Pharmacist, Social Prescriber and First Contact Physiotherapist. Your consulting room is in a clean, modern, bright building with its own parking shared with Cambourne Library and Children’s Centre.

You will be joining a team committed to delivering high quality care and enabled to continue your personal and professional development. You will be meeting your colleagues for coffee at 11am or over lunch daily. While clinical meetings are weekly on Teams. Our patient population is young so an interest in children’s health would be helpful. We have no care homes in our practice area. An interest in Women’s health would also be beneficial. You would be supported to develop your own clinical areas of interest.

The team at MMP have worked hard to make our day in General Practice rewarding and stimulating. We have a policy of each clinician bringing in patients they want to see face to face themselves and protecting time at the end of each surgery to do this.

We are part of the St Neots PCN and are just completing Phase 1 of the COVID vaccination programme. We are a teaching practice taking University of Cambridge Medical Students and are in the process of becoming a training practice, too. We aspire to become research ready in the near future.
