Salaried GP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join Bretton Park Healthcare, a forward-thinking, friendly and supportive practice in Peterborough.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent GP to work a minimum of 6 sessions per week. We are open to discussing the working pattern with the successful candidate.

About us

Bretton Park Healthcare is a well-established practice operating across Bretton Medical Practice and Park Medical Centre, with a combined list size of just over 21,000 patients.

We are a high-achieving practice with a strong focus on Medical Education, Research and Continuous Quality Improvement. We have a strong ethos of education and professional development and are keen to support GPs in developing their own areas of interest.

Our multidisciplinary team includes GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Social Prescribing and Specialist Nurse support, alongside a strong administrative team.

The role

The successful candidate will undertake the usual duties expected of a GP working within primary care, including:

• Routine and same-day GP consultations
• Telephone and online consultations
• Home visits where required
• Managing pathology results, clinical tasks and correspondence
• Completing onward referrals
• Participating in the duty doctor rota
• Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
• Participating in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement
• Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

What we are looking for

We are looking for a GP who is:

• Fully qualified and registered to practise as a GP in the UK
• Committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care
• A good team player with excellent communication skills
• Interested in contributing to the wider development of the practice
• Keen to develop or utilise their own areas of special interest
