Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner

St Mary’s Surgery in Ely will take over the contract to provide General Practice Services at Priors Field, Sutton, starting 1st April 2025. We are seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Practitionerto join our team and help develop a high-quality service for the Sutton community.

About Us

The role will primarily be based at Priors Field Surgery in Sutton, with occasional clinics and meetings at St Mary’s Surgery in Ely.

Our Team and Facilities:

• 3 Partners and 7 Salaried GPs.
• Advanced roles: 1 ANP, 1 ACP, 1 APP (Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner).
• Nursing team: 13 nurses and 7 HCAs, led by a Clinical Nurse Manager.
• In-house professionals: physiotherapist, clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, social prescriber, health and wellbeing coaches.
• Supportive management team, including IT manager and trained dispensary staff (part dispensing practice).

About the Candidate

Ideal Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced Practitioner Qualification (ideally at Master’s level).
• Proven ability to work autonomously and adapt to daily demands.
• Strong critical thinking and safe clinical decision-making skills.
• Expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care evaluation.
• Capability to perform home visits for housebound patients and those in care homes.
