 Dispenser – Maternity Cover (Whittlesey)

Contract: 18-month maternity cover

Hours: Full-time or part-time considered

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Start date: ASAP 

We are looking for a motivated and fully qualified dispenser to join our friendly team in Whittlesey. We dispense medications for patients who live more than one mile from a chemist, and we take pride in providing a supportive, collaborative working environment. You’ll be joining a team that looks out for one another, works flexibly, and genuinely enjoys what we do. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Dispensing medication to patients 
• Ordering medication and managing stock levels 
• Updating patient records 
• Actioning medication requests 
• Completing stock takes 
• Providing clear and friendly advice to patients 
• Taking prescription payments where required 
• Ensuring all drugs are stored safely and correctly 
• Managing paperwork for incoming and outgoing stock 
• Adhering to practice policies and standard operating procedures 
• Ensuring the safe and compliant destruction of returned medications 

About You 

• Fully qualified dispenser (essential) 
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team 
• Committed to providing excellent patient care
