Locum Practice Nurse – required for cover

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to provide locum cover for a short period of time from the 27^th July 2026 to the 14^th August 2026 (possibility of extending)

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing routine nursing care, including wound care and dressings
• Administering vaccinations and immunisations.
• Carrying out cervical screening and health promotion activities.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
• Contributing to infection prevention and control and ensuring safe clinical practice.

Essential Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience working in primary care or a general practice setting is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care.

Desirable Skills:

• Chronic disease management qualifications or experience.
• Cervical cytology accreditation.
• Immunisation and vaccination training.
• Experience using GP clinical systems – SystmOne).
