Maternity Leave Locum

Job Title: Maternity Leave Cover – General Practitioner (GP)

Are you a compassionate, skilled GP looking for a rewarding maternity leave opportunity?
We are seeking 2 dedicated and experienced General Practitioners to join our practice on a temporary basis while our regular GPs are on maternity leave. We need one Dr from the middle of July for 8 months and one from the end of July for 10 months. This is a fantastic chance to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our patients, while working in a supportive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages
• Conduct consultations, provide diagnoses, and treatments for various conditions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Process all paperwork
• Be part of the Duty Dr rota
• Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care
• Provide advice on preventative care and healthy living
• Respond to urgent medical situations and coordinate with specialists when needed

About You:

• You are a registered GP and have current GMC registration
• You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and the wider team
• You are adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• You have a strong commitment to patient care and a proactive approach to healthcare

• Fixed term contract with holiday pay, SSP, pension etc or pay you as a self-employed locum
