PCN Salaried GP

Cam Medical PCN, serving a patient population of approximately 50,000 across Lensfield Medical Practice, Newnham Walk Surgery, and Trumpington Street Medical Practice, is seeking a newly qualified ARRS GP (within two years post-CCT and not having had a substantive post) to join our innovative and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across 3 closely located practices in central Cambridge, with access to the ARRS GP Support & Development Programme via the Training Hub. You will join our team of GPs across the practices and will be working with other PCN team members including clinical pharmacists, social prescribers and advanced practitioners.

We work in a positive and collaborative environment, a mentor will be assigned to guide you through the transition into independent practice, and you’ll have the chance to develop areas of personal interest within a forward-thinking network.

Job Summary

• Role: Work autonomously across three practice sites, diagnosing and managing a range of conditions.
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to multidisciplinary care, providing expert clinical guidance and ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
• Flexibility: Travel between sites and work flexibly to meet service needs.
• Contract: Fixed term for 12 months, 6 sessions per week, with potential for extension subject to national DES contracting.

This role is ideal as an initial stepping stone in your career, offering scope for a possible longer-term position in the future as the role of PCN GPs evolves. Competitive salary aligned with local salaried GP rates.

Start Date: March (flexible for the right candidate).
