Salaried GP – Maternity Cover

4 session salaried maternity cover GP required for a fixed term of 13 months

We are recruiting for a maternity cover salaried GP to work with us on a fixed term contract for 13 months starting in January 2027. We are looking for a 4-session GP to work with us ideally on a Monday and a Thursday,  but that is negotiable. We are a small village training practice situated in South Cambridge, handy for train links to Cambridge and London via the nearby Meldreth and Royston stations. We have a list size of 8300 with 4 partners and 3 salaried GP’s, along with 2 practice nurses and 3 healthcare assistants. The practice is also supported by a workflow and coding team, a care home ANP and pharmacy team along with a physiotherapist, and experienced reception team.

We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, supportive working environment with staff meeting daily at a morning huddle and over a coffee break.  We provide a patient centred collaborative environment, combining the strength, experience and expertise of our teams, whilst maintaining the personal approach that our patients find so important. We have a strong leadership team who are approachable and supportive.  We are a dispensing practice and we are a training practice with currently 4 trainees. We hold monthly clinical and educational meetings, and we are a SystmOne practice using total triage along with AccuRx .
