Salaried GP

Priory Fields Surgery are looking for a Salaried GP.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team at Priory Fields Surgery. We are a busy and innovative practice with a friendly and supportive team, in Cambridgeshire; covering central Huntingdon and surrounding villages. We have lovely modern and spacious GP owned premises with attached pharmacy, central town location with local shopping with good road links (Cambridge 18 miles) and fast rail link to London.

We are a SystmOne practice with over 12,000 patients. We have 3 partners, 4 salaried GPs and a large support team. We are a well organised practice, supported by a fantastic administrative team. We are part of the Huntingdon PCN, and work collaboratively with the 3 other surgeries involved, ensuring we are all using the PCN’s full potential. As a practice we are forward thinking, adaptable, and open to change.

We have Good CQC rating with some outstanding features.  High patient satisfaction.

We are also a thriving and highly respected teaching practice with all level trainees, FY2 and Cambridge medical students with the opportunity to get involved. We aim to use our resources to help with training in all departments, and ensure we can support our staff to evolve and progress into their chosen positions.

We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our fantastic team. We can be flexible on number of sessions, and working days.

We are offering a whole time equivalent salary of £88,000+ per annum, based on experience.

We offer the BMA standard contract. The benefits include: allocated in-session CPD time, additional admin sessions pro rata, time in lieu for duty sessions, paid MDU cover, ICB covered closure afternoons monthly, and generous annual leave entitlement with an additional day for your birthday. We also work with our GPs to be included in any changes, and we actively encourage and support areas of development. We also work towards the LMC safe working levels of 25 contacts per day.

You would also be supported by a wider team which is one of the strengths of Priory Fields. The team are hard-working, supportive, efficient, and highly skilled.
