Salaried GP (two vacancies)

There is a vacancy for a salaried GP and an additional Fixed Term Contract Salaried GP.

The Permanent salaried appointment is 6 sessions per week. Full days are ideally needed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Fixed Term is for eight months Partner cover commencing January 2027, with ideally full day working on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Our Practice is just off the City centre with our own Car Park.

We have a patient size of 11,100 and commit to, “today’s work today”, with systems and care; that experiences high patient satisfaction, whilst protecting colleagues. Great value is placed on work life balance. We offer good working conditions in a supportive and friendly environment; with a manageable workload and great team.

York Street operates with the SystemOne Clinical IT System, Ardens & Accurx. Multiple choices are available for patient appointment consultations and we use electronic prescribing. There is a very low rate home visit workload. 

We are a Training Practice with teaching and coaching at all levels, from Students to GP Trainee Registrars. York Street is also Research active.

There is a daily coffee meeting plus a timetable of regular educational meetings.

We have a very low turnover of GPs, which we like to think reflects how we choose to work as a team.

The successful applicants are required to undertake the full range of clinical work, with most reasonable patient slot numbers per session.
